Scholarships and Tutoring Information

Many of Redefining School's services are eligible for reimbursement from different state scholarship programs. If you child currently participates in a state scholarship program and you need documentation for possible reimbursement, please contact Dr. Schiermyer at redefiningschool@gmail.com  Dr. Schiermyer participates with the PEP and UA plans in Florida and the Hope Scholarship in West Virginia.  (Alabama and Arkansas are currently PENDING).  If you are a current scholarship student, REACH out to Dr. Schiermyer prior to enrolling!

Many states will require proof of teacher certification and/or proof of college education along with an itemized receipt.  Dr. Schiermyer holds the following degrees: 

Doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction

Masters Degree in Reading and Language Arts

Bachelors Degree in English, German and Secondary Education

She also holds current and valid teaching certification in the following states:

We are now offering tutoring services for a very limited amount of students.  If you are interested in tutoring services, please email Dr. Schiermyer at redefiningschool@gmail.com to inquire.  Tutoring service rates are as follows:

Small group rate (3-5 students): $60 per hour

Individual rate: $75-$100 per hour depending on content covered.

All tutoring services are delivered online using Zoom.
